Scheduled Regular Preventative Maintenance

It’s important to schedule regular maintenance for your HVAC system, ideally at least twice a year. This will help to identify and fix any potential issues before they become more serious and costly to repair. As an added benefit for entering a maintenance agreement with Thermal Cool you will be given a 10% labor and parts discount on any repair needed.

Below is a typical maintenance checklist that our technician will be using to ensure your system is in good working order:

Inspect ductwork

Ensure proper airflow

Calibrate thermostat settings, and check battery status

Check for leaks

Check the heat pump

Listen for any strange sounds

Inspect and clean coils

Check registers for signs of mold

Check electrical connections

Check system controls

Inspect fan blades

Perform other tasks as directed by the manufacturer

Check filters and make sure that doors are securely closed

Lubricate moving parts

Inspect pipes and drains

Check refrigerant charge

Inspect gas pressure, burner combustion, and heat exchanger
